I have ink stains the size of a half dollar coin?

Question:we washed and obviously wouldnt come out . the QUESTION IS ,finding out now that hair spray will dor sure remove the ink stains, does that also mean , it willl remove the stain a month after being treated the wrong way and stain remained

Answers:
I think you will have better luck getting it off with rubbing alcohol because you have set the stain. Hairspray is tricky because a lot of the new ones have oils and other body building chemicals that can leave a residue which you then have to remove. Put a terry towel or rag underneath the garment and saturate another rag with alcohol. Blot the alcohol on the stains and you should force the ink through the fabric on to the the cloth below. Then launder the garment immediately so you do not get a ring around the old stains.

Bring it to the dry cleaners - they have chemicals that can take out ink stains.

Good luck!
i don't entirely understand your phraseology...
but it is certainly true that hairspray is a solvent of ball-point ink.
That should still be true whether or not you've done something to it before hand, especially as it's been rinsed through. you could try spraying a little onto your finger or cloth and testing it on a small spot.

good luck
You could try Zout. In your supermarket.
I would try the hair-spray. It works better than anything else i have ever used.
Ball point ink, gell ink . try straight rubbing alcohol. You need some white cloths, the stained item and the alcohol. Lay the spot flat over a white cloth. Pour alcohol on the spot. Pat, straight down on the spot with a second rag. Repeat for about a million times.
If the spot bleeds through to the bottom cloth change to a new cloth.
Only one way to know for sure, try it. If it doesn't work, Then take 1/4th cup of rubbing alcohol and 1cup of water, and soak the stains, Then clean them with dish washing detergent and water, That should work.
