probably take it to the cleaners and that can be costly. you may be able to wash it in woollite gentle cycle. it may shrink a little. air dry.
My new cat peed on a small sheep skin that I had. I had no choice but to throw it in the washer ... warm water, gentle cycle, with Woolite. I put it in the dryer for about 5 minutes, just to start it drying because I really need it. It did fine, I guess. Some small chunks of the skin came off, but not so much that I notice it missing. The skin itself is dry and I'd like to figure a way to soften it up. I don't think it shrunk ... shrank ... got smaller. Good luck with yours.

Chuck it in the washing machine ,give it a good spin, rinse well and hang it on the line with the skin away from the sun, be like new
