Bath Towels hygiene question?

Question:I wash my bath towels every 2-3 days. but when is it time to throw them away. i know its time when they have holes or rips but im asking hygiene wise??

Answers:
that's more of a personal call...if you wash them and they still smell musty, or don't absorb water well anymore- the chances that they are going to hold bacteria are better. towels need to be absorbent to pull the water off of you, as well as dry themselves sufficiently to ward off germs, etc.

as long as they smell clean after washing, and still perform well, they should be ok.

For me its when they smell sour the first time they get wet.
When they no longer seem to absorb water or get kind of smelly from just drying ypour hands on them, it is time to dump them.
If you wash them in hot water, with the proper detergent, that will kill all the germs. There is no hygiene reason to get rid of towels.
I use my towels once then straight to the laundry, I just think that when you dry yourself, all the dead skin comes off, So if you use the towel again, your only putting the dry skin back on again, if you get my meaning
They have no hygienic time, just when they wore out their welcome..
