Washable Markers... any tricks of getting them off the skin?

Question:my 23 month old got into a black crayola marker while my husband was watching him last night... needless to say, he painted himself black... my husband tried to remove it immediately with a washcloth and soap... the majority of it came off, but there's still faint color...

i thought of maybe alcohol? but i know sometimes, grandmas and mommies know crazy stuff that work! i really hate for anyone to see my child markered up! help!

Answers:
I would try some baby oil or mineral oil first... sometimes that will work rather than use alcohol... I have found that an oily substance works good for markers, paint, etc. if that does not work than maybe put a little stain remover, such as shout, oxy clean, etc on a cloth and rub it gently... Hope this helps...

nail polish remover trust me i use magic marker every where when i was little
use eyemakeup remover that will get it off in no time at all . that's what i use on my boy when he is full scribblings from the markers .
The best way to get this off your skin by far is baby wipes! So much more gentle to the skin than nail polish remover.
