Does Anyone Know How to Get permanent Marker off the Carpet?
Question:Is there any type of special cleaner that will work very well that wont bleach the carpet?

Maybe try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Use it as soon as possible though, because the older the stain is, the harder it is to get it out. And don't rub the stain, blot it. Rubbing will smear it further.

goof off or goo gone has worked great on any color or fabric that I had a stain in without worry of bleaching.
well one time i had it all over a binder & i put Germ-X on it & it came right off!
so i dunno if it will work or not but hey if it doesn't then that part of your carpet will have 99.9% less germs!
Try shaving cream, just a little at first in case it doesn't work
if that doesn't work, snip off the actual carpet.
Have you tried a product called Spot Shot it works really good you should try it. I tried it with marker and it came out.
