Why do my clothes have white spots of like dirt when I wash them?
Question:AM I putting to much clothes into one load that the water doesn't circulate properly? how many pieces of clothing should be in a small, medium, and large load?
Answers:
switch to liquid detergent. Powdered detergents dissolve best in hot water. Wtih most washing being done with cold and warm water, it's not getting hot enough to dissolve the powder.
with liquid detergent you can wash in what ever temp you want without worry.
are you using powder detergent if so you are probably using to much for the load size
I think what is happening is that you are not getting the powdered detergent dissolved in the water. To solve this, start the machine with just the soap. Close the lid and allow the machine to fill up a little. Then open it and stir the water iwth a shirt or a pair of pants. Then add the rest of the clothes and close the lid and let the machine run its course. You'll see this problem go away and not reappear.
Use the small/medium/large load levels as guidelines. If the machine is completely full, it is a large load. If you can still see three lines of holes in the spinning tub, it is a medium. If it's half full, it's a small load.
Never NEVER fill past the last row of holes. That's when you get overstuffing and no real washing.
its probably not circulating right, and the soap is nto getting a chance to move around and dissolve.
I would say, put enough clothes so that it's loosely in the washer and not packed. if you have to pack it in. you are putting too much clothes in there.
I usually throw it on the floor and whatever amount of clothes I can scoop up with both my hands is the only amount that goes in there.
