I would carefully use a razor blade. Using nail polish remover might leave a dull spot on an otherwise shiny laminate.
Use some nail polish remover...=)
use some of your own nail varnish remover , this should remove the stain
Chip it off with your finger nail or use Goo gone or good Ole fashion Nail Polish remover, it shouldn't hurt your counter.
