Use hair spray. It will wipe right off.
Try a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser, they work miracles. Can be found at your local grocery store, down the aisle where they keep all the cleaning products. Good Luck!
I have gotten permanent marker and ink out of my countertop by just using bleach and letting it sit. It does not bleach out the surface, just the stain. Ink takes longer than marker to get out.
I just used straight bleach and poured a few drops on and let it sit.

A powdered clenser like Ajax with bleach added will work miricles on formica. Just make sure you don't use it on a gloss finish. I have used it for years with great success.
