What will get blood off of chrome?
Question:My sister had a motorcycle accident and now is trying to get the blood off of the chrome, do you have any suggestions? She has already tried perioxide.

Use a sponge-backed dish/pot scrubber with soap and water or a powder-type kitchen cleaner.
This will not scratch or dull the chrome and the blood will come off immediately.
DO dry the chrome immediately after washing as there could be other damage or scratches already there.
If you see any scratches or small spots of rust they will likely respond to a chrome polish and you can prevent future rust by spraying a clear automotive lacquer (top coat/clear coat) on them after they are dry.
Blood should wash off a good chrome surface with little or no difficulty. Are you sure it's chrome? Has the blood etched it, or somehow gotten under parts of it?
I would try using a chrome polish.
Ok, in order to clean some chrome, I suggest using club soda, or seltzer water. I'm not sure how well it will work because those are meant to clean chrome, but then again, chrome isn't generally dirtied up by blood. Corn starch can also remove blood stains. Rinse the stain in cold water, then rub in moistened cornstarch, but if I were you, I'd try the first suggestion of using club soda or seltzer water! I hope this helps!
