Laundry Detergent=Dish Soap?
Question:My mother is out of dish soap, so she's using laundry detergent!! Is this safe? It concerns me. :/
Answers:
Sopa is soap - Luaral Sulfate or some such ingrediant is the "soap" used in every household cleaner in cluding tootapaste.
Grab your toothpast and compare the ingrediant s on it to the laundry soap and you will see that they are very similar- No laundry soap will not cause any problems- at all
she just has to make sure she rinses the dishes really really good.. laundry detergent is soapy and made for clothes if she rinises them in good hot soapy water all she be fine..
Laundry soap and dish soap have virtually the same ingrediants...as long as the dishes are rinsed in good hot water it is safe...
if she puts it in her dishwasher, she'll have bubbles everywhere, and it could ruin her dishwasher. I suppose if she washed them by hand in laundry soap in might be ok.
Shouldn't be a problem. Be a good daughter and go buy her some dish soap!!!
Yes. It may be hard on her hands, though. Don't worry! Tell her to rinse them well!
It's safe all right as long as she's rinsing things well. Give her a buck to go to the store and get the right stuff.
