What is the best way to get candle wax off of new carpet?

Before you do anything, apply a plastic baggie of ice to the wax to make it super cold and brittle. Then chip off as much as you can, then scrape with a credit card or unserrated knife to get more off. Then take a brown paper bag (it should be brown paper because it is an excellent absorbent and trapper of oil) and with medium heat (make sure to not get oo hot or you can melt fake fibers) iron the top of the bag over the wax. When the wax soaks thru - throw that piece away and re-iron with a new piece of bag. Repeat this until no more wax soaks thru. Then if you have a color stain left behind you will need to do the regular carpet spot removing washing you would do with a regular stain. If this doesnt work, try Goo Gone solvent, but make sure to test it first to make sure it doesnt hurt the carpet fibers.
Get an old towel and your iron. Heat the iron up to low-medium. Lay the towel over the candle wax and then iron the towel. The wax will melt and soak into the towel.
This works to get wax off of any cloth surface.
if its wet you better wait till its dry and try and get it off by sliding a knife under - good luck!
I have had good luck using a piece of blotting paper and an iron. The blotting paper soaks up the wax.
Place the blotting paper over the wax and then the warm iron over that for a few seconds. Check and try it again til all the wax is gone.
get a damp towel and a hair dryer
put towel on top of wax then use hair dryer on the towel it should suck the wax into the towel
