Window A/C in Mildew-ish Basement - How do I sanitize?

Question:I have some window air conditioning units that have been stored in my basement storage unit for a year. There is a noticable mildew smell when I walk in the basement.
I know how to replace the filters. But how do I wash/ clean / spray to remove any mildew possibly growing from basement.?

BTW it's going to be apporx 90 degrees in Chicago Thursday. I'd like to get them install tonight or early tomorrow.

The best way to clean and sanitize the mildew, is to clean with Clorox. I would say about 1 cup Clorox to 1 gal of water.
Don't forget to wear gloves!
