Can I safely shrink my clothes in the washer or dryer?
Question:I lost some weight and want to shrink my clothes. Should I put them in the washer or dryer? What temperature? For how long?

some fabrics will not shrink. mainly clothes made of cotton do shrink, in hot water, and then a hot dryer. congrats to the weight loss.
If you are really attached to your old clothes take them to a tailor and have them altered to fit. Trying to shrink them will only ruin them so you will lose them altogether.
If they've already been worn & washed before, they are not going to shrink down any more.
