Any Suggestions on getting a tough stain out of linoleum?

Question:we had a throw rug/mat down that stained the linoleum in our kitchen. Now it's sort of a orangish/red stain in a perfect rectangle. I've tried using bleach dilluted with water and even bleach straight out of the bottle just to see if it would lift the stain and it's not worked. I'd appreciate any suggestions! Thank you in advance!

Answers:
Get a can of BarKeepers Friend. It comes in a gold can like Comet but works way better. Make a paste of it and spread it onto the spot. Let it sit about 15 minutes and then get a mildly abrasive scrubber or toothbrush and go to it. That stuff cleans everything. Even rust and lime deposits and stains that bleach won't get out of formica and procelain.

elbow grease!
Don't Take My Word For It But What About That OXY Brand Or Maybe Pouring Some Of That "Shout" Brand On There.
I would try soft scrub.
My mother-in-law warned me about using synthetic rugs on new bathroom linoleum because of the stain. She said just use cotton rugs. She learned the hard way and had to replace her flooring as no one could get the stain out. Good luck. Also make sure your floor and rugs are completely dry before laying rugs down.
