How do I shrink a shirt made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester?
Question:I need to shrink it as much as possible, but I've heard polyester prevents shrinking, any thoughts?
Answers:
Polyester does not shrink no matter how you wash it. All you will succeed in doing is forcing the garment out of shape. Go to a tailor and have it altered to fit.

It won't shrink unless it is 100% natural fibre.
