How do i get rid of toilet bowl ring from forming?
Question:I don't even use that toilet because I hardly go upstairs. It just forms a dirty ring where the water line is all on it's own. How do I prevent that? What cause that?
Answers:
you should flush it every so often. The water sits and the chlorine in the water evaporates and mold can grow. you could try a chlorine tablet in the tank. This will help but you still have to flush every so often.
lime build up , get a pumas stone, you may have to scrub the ring off. But after you do so keep up with it.
You could use those cleaners in your tank so when you flush it releases the solution and cleans the bowl. You could also just spray some toilet bowl cleaner with bleach in it and let that sit for awhile. If the cleaner in the tank doesn't solve it then it is just you might have to make it one of your daily chores to flush it once per day.
To keep it from forming use a blue puck or liquid in the reservoir after scrubbing with CLR
f.y.i just cuz you dont use it doesnt mean you dont clean thats
like saying i have chesse in the fridge i never used i only had it for a month so maybe i should eat no just get some clorox to prevent
it just clean it and leave those lil tablet things on the side of the toilet flush it every now and then and clean it
Hard ware sand paer songes ,corrisives, rubber gloves ,eassay on the porcelin!
If it is a reddish ring, it is probably from rust in your plumbing... hard water maybe. Just dump some bleach in it once in a while and it will disappear with no other effort. If you don't, mold will form in the ring and the bathroom might begin to smell musty.
