How do you evenly bleach a light colored garment?
Question:I have a very light cream tank top that I want to bleach white. If I put it in the washer with a regular white load and bleach will it get blotchy or bleach evenly? How do I evenly bleach it?

you have to start with an empty washer
put some bleach in the washer with the water and start the machine w/o the clothes for a minute
stop the machine and add the top
let it mix and stop the machine before the water goes out
repeat the cycle and then see if it is white enough
when you start the regular white load, wait until the washer is full and let it agitate for about 1 min. so the bleach is spread evenly, the put your tank top in. that should do it.
Don't bleach it,just get a color remover at Walmarts.It is where the Ritz dye is.Just get the one that removes color...
