Best way to clean silver with household products?

Question:

Answers:
Some people use a paste of baking soda and water, but be careful you don't scratch your silver, and be certian to get it totally washed off afterwards. It would be better to get real silver polish, it's specifically made for that purpose, and it usualy has an additive to retard further tarnishing.

Lemon juice or vinegar.
You can crinkle up a piece of aluminum foil in a pan of baking soda and boiling water, then dip your silver in it.
toothpaste
whatever you do, don't use lemon anything on silver, it creates a film on the item instead of cleaning it
