"How to" get: Crayon or white-out off a blackboard ?
Question:My young niece decided chalk wasn't enough and used the large/wide crayons and a bit of white-out on a regular blackboard... It's several letters and a scribble of her dog.
I tried to scratch it off with a flat butterknife and it's not coming off. Heat would just melt the crayon and smear it. Ugh !

I know someone must have an idea on getting this off ?
Superfine sand paper ? A spray ?
Thank you in advance !

Sometimes nail polish or rubbing alcohol will get some stuff like that off. Another idea would be to go to an office store and see if they have any ideas. There is another lady called the Queen of Clean. She is from Arizona and currently has a challenge to stump her. You could probably get her web address from Googling her.
When my boys used crayons on the wall, I used dry abrasive cleanser [Ajax, Comet] on a cloth and rubbed the crayon off.
The whiteout 's solvent is ethanol, I think. A little liquor, vodka especially, ought to dissolve that.
use a Magic Eraser. Plus it works in every situation from the bathroom to getting the rust off a grill.
