I have 12x12 granite tiles in my kitchen. What's the best way to keep them clean without harming the tiles?

Question:Someone told me not to use any household product. I actually have a Bissell flip-it hard floor cleaner and I tried a few granite cleaners by mixing the chemical solution with water and it works ok but I wanted to get some other opinions?

Answers:
Wash them with plain old water. When they dry, spray the canned Lysol around. Don't soak it, but do enough of an over spray to kill the germs since you cannot use cleaner. To freshen your home, when you are done use some fabric softener diluted (about 2 cups per gallon of warm water). This is safe for the floors and keeps your home smelling good. The Lysol disinfects the floors - and you need that. Hope this helps!
