Who hates housework?
Question:I dont mind any work except for the dishes and put the laundry away.. I dont mind washing, drying, or even folding ti but I absolutely hating putting it away... I hate to mate the socks!!!Anyone else like this?

yeah i hate it too. thats why i have you do it mom. ill start doing it for you so you dont have to do all the work around the house.

I can't stand folding it. Putting it away seems to take forever too. Sometimes I just grab it all straight from the dryer and take it to each room and out the clothes/towels directly in the closets.
I think what bothers me now mostly with housework is that I did a huge Spring clean the other day, in fact it took me 2 days to do the whole house and I was completely satisfied. A few days later, thanks to my almost 3-year-old, you'd never have known I lifted a finger! You could hear me muttering "why do I bother" for a while!!

I don't mind doing the dishes, but for some reason, I hate putting them away. Its just a pain in the butt. What really bugs me isn't the actually cleaning. Its picking up all the little messes and clutter that accumulate like every ten minutes in my house because people don't pick up after themselves. Oh, oh, I'm getting a little worked up. I better go count to ten! =)
I hate folding clothes and putting dishes away. I clean too thoroughly, so it takes me too long. I can start in the kitchen then move to the bathroom, then back to the kitchen only to end up starting something else in the living room. I usually end up with 1 clean room until the next week!
I am so bad at putting laundry away...in fact there is a huge pile awaiting me.
Gal I sure know what you mean. I work afternoon and I get behind and can't seem to get caught back up!! i hate it all!!lol Hope you get caught up I know I won't. lol
I love doing housework. I also love coming home to a clean house when Iv'e been some where.
I understand how you feel. It's like, why bother washing the dishes, next meal there will be more to do? Laundry is okay. I have found that by doing flylady.net the "chores" get broken down into much smaller steps. 15 min. at a time. Do you have to hand wash your dishes, or automatic dishwasher? My sister had an automatic dishwasher while raising her children, and she would load that thing up and run it at bedtime every night. Unload it every morning.
Is there someone else in your household to help you with some of these chores? When it comes to dishes, I wash them by hand, and let them air dry. Then put them away later. Laundry, I do what I need to, a load or two and get them done, and yes, I can relate to the putting the things away where they belong. But once they are, it's done.

lol that's me gf i hate it all none of it is good and a man and kids that hate it too doesnt help lol well maybe dede you should find a friend that will come over and help or heck just do it for you lol
I'm the exact same way. I can wash and dry laundry till the cows come home. But I tend to fold them and put them in laundry baskets and they tend to stay there while I put them away piece by piece really slowly or until we grab something out of the basket to wear. I've always hated putting away laundry, even when I was young and my mom made me do it.
Oh I don't even mate the socks anymore. Cause every time I do theres always like 4 or 5 socks left in the basket that have no mate. I swear the washer or dryer is eating them.
But my all time pet peeve is the dishes. I think its asinine that you have to "wash" the dishes before you but them in the dishwasher. I wish my dishwasher worked as well as those stupid cascade commercials where they put in casserole dishes with left over lasagna stuck on the bottom of them and it magically cleans it...yeah right. Apparently I bought the wrong dishwasher.
