What is the best thing to remove build-up on glass shower doors?
Question:We have hard water where we live and our shower doors have a build-up on them that I can't get rid of. Any ideas or hints would be greatly appreciated.

the scrubbing bubbles for soap scum, it's works really really good.
Plain vinegar should take care of it.
There's stuff you can use to coat the shower door, if you go to Home Depot they can tell you, I forgot what it's called.
Baking soda. It's a good, all-purpose cleaner.
CLR or Lime Away ... Dilute either in a spray bottle with water.

Coca-cola works wonders. Try it to clean your toilet also! And on corroded car battery cables! Lots of other uses too! No fumes, doesn't cost much and works great!
CLR or lime away works really well. But also vinegar or lemon juice with water.
I use CLR. It comes in a grey plastic bottle and it's some awsome stuff. Just wear some gloves tho, cause it's some knarly $#!T and don't want to get it on your skin. Also, if you have a coffee machine, run vinegar through it about every month or so to clean out all the build up from the hard water. It works great. =)

this stuff called LA'S TOTALLY AWESOME all purpose cleaner. I got it at the 99cent store once and really was amazed.

A mixture of vinegar & hydrogen peroxide seems to work ok.Also enviornment friendly.

I like either CLR or Tilex soap scum remover. Either is available at grocery stores/Walmart, etc.
Check the label to see if they are ok for glass first.
Whatever you use you have to do it often and well. Over time if it is left it will etch into the glass and then nothing will get it off.
It sounds crazy, I know, but try Goo Gone. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and then scrub with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

I have this :( Once you have it off, polish well with good spray furniture polish (avoid the floor though as it will make it slippy) - the water just rolls off then!
I use CLR and I recently clean some old pennies that were left in my parents garage. CLR is a wonderful product.
