Does anyone know how to remove salt stains from suede?

Question:My wife has a pair of brown suede winter boots. This past winter she got road salt on them and the salt stined the suede. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the stains, and if so, how?

Answers:
To remove salt stains from leather shoes and winter boots, wipe them with a solution of 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon vinegar.

I hope this was useful,Good Luck! :)

I have some stupid bottle of some chemical that Nordstrom's sold me years ago when I had a salt stain on some shoes or something. I only used it once. I wish I could send it to you because it's such a waste and I doubt I'll ever use it again.
