Washer will not run after moving?
Question:I sold a washer and dryer to someone. They called me back later in the day and said washer will fill but not run now.The washer is a kenmore that is at least 5 yr.s old and was running good before I sold it.Could this person of layed it down on its side or maybe ruffed handled to cause this problem making a belt fall off or something? I would think if he had dropped it he would know I would see the damage and want to keep his money.Or is he just trying to pull a fast one on me and get half his money back?

I think the "Buyer Beware" theory is a bit too harsh in this case. I would at least check it out and offer to refund a percentage of the $. Be kind to one another!
you never know about a washer.yes it is true he could have been rough with it during the move, which could cause it to not run.it may be a simple problem like the belt has slipped off or may just be off track.the motor could have gotten damaged during the move..if i was you i would go see for myself and see if it was something that he may have done before i give money back.actually no wait..if i was you i would say sorry.buyer beware..its a part of life...just like buying a car off the car lot and the next day u go out and it wont start..like i said...BUYER BEWARE..:)
