How do I get rid of the clutter in my home?

Question:I get up, shower, clean the bathroom, do my bed and go to work. I get home from work, cook dinner, clean the kitchen and do laundry,go to bed, an ugly routine.I don't have the energy to clean house and everything is piling up, the clutter and the cleaning. I hate it! Friday to Sunday I go out, I don't have time to pick up or clean house. Where do I start?!!

Answers:
Decluttering, if done 15 mon. per day works pretty good. I have signed up with flylady.net myself. It sure helps me a lot.
Pick a room, pick a surface in the room. Maybe dust one evening, the next vacuum. Do you have a bin for recycling? Trash? When sorting thru the mail each evening, sort into keep, (where it goes if keep), recycle, and trash. That goes a little bit quicker when you do it that way, as opposed to just piling up the mail a week at a time.
I hope this helps, even a little bit. Take care.

Burn that f*cker to the ground.
You might have to give up one of your "going out" weekends and clean. Once you get it all cleaned make sure to keep it clean by putting things back when you are finished and throw away things like junk mail right away. Good Luck!
I read this in a book..they say grab 3 boxes or laundry baskets. 1. for stuff you don't want or need, or sick of seeing. 2. stuff that needs to be trashed. 3. stuff that doesn't belong in the room. Then after you've grabbed what could out of the room, take the box #1 to Goodwill or just toss it. Box #2 to the trash and box #3 to the rooms it belongs to. They say it depends on how "cluttered" you really are to as how many times you should do it. Some say once a month other say once ever 6 months. I say do it till you get the results you want.
You need to start by getting a good plan together. Todayshomemaker.com has some good ones based on how much time you have in your day (you can check out the whole house cleaning guide at www.todayshomemaker.com/cleani...

If you start out with a clean slate, it makes keeping up with it a lot easier. Hope that helps!
Make time ! have garage sale and make some extra money.
Rule of thumb if you haven't used it or worn it in a year get rid of it. If you don't want to take the time to do a garage sale , donate it to charity some one will love it and use it .
