How does water accumulate in the bottom of my clothes dryer?

Question:i live in southern louisiana. but i have never had this problem before. after using the dryer, and the clothes are removed, the next day there is water (not much about a few tablespoons at the most) accumulated in the bottom of the drum. sometimes even with the clothes in the next day the clothes are damp.

Answers:
You have a moisture problem somewhere near the dryer. Good Luck !

sounds like you have very high humidity
try leaving the dryer door open when the clothes are taken out and see if that helps. Are you drying your clothes thoroughly? otherwise if they are not drying properly , you may have a burned out element, which you can buy at an appliance parts shop and install yourself
