How much would the length shrink/change if I washed size 0 jeans in warm water?
Question:If i were to wash a pair of size 0 jeans from like hollister or something in warm water how much would the length shrink? What if I did it a few times? Because i need to shrink a little and was hoping the length wouldn't change much.
I was just wondering what a normal pair of size 0 jeans at like hollister or something...what is the length? From my hip? Also, how long is a size 0 regular, and how long is a size 0 short?
Thanx =D
[P.S If you don't know the exacts, I'm 5'3", so would it hit the ground/drag? How much of it would drag on the ground?]
Answers:
they should fit you pretty well, im 5'5 and when i wore 0 not too long ago,they were always a wee bit short so i think you'll be fine. i wouldnt go for a 0 short, i think that would be too short for you. They make the jeans to be proportionate with your weight and height,( they think everyone is perfect.)
1/2 to 1 1/2 inches
IF the manufacture used preshrunk fabric nothing will change. If the fabric was not preshrunk then 100 percent cotton will shrink about 2 percent.
Note: if you have washed and machine dryed the jeans they are already shrunk. They heat from the dryer will have done the shrinking.
Fabric primarily shrinks on the lenghtwise of the grain. Lenghtwise grain is running the lenght of the jeans, it is also used on the waistband.
i think they will fit perfectly♥
Hope It Helps♥
