Fingernail Polish?


Question:I had a bone head moment and knocked a bottle of fingernail polish on my carpet. It is bright red. Any ideas on how I can get it out cause fingernail polish remover is not working. Thanks for the ideas.

Unfortunatley, there is no other way.. If it is still fresh, try using water and some bleach or something..
The same thing happened to me. I'm not sure how you're using the polish remover, but I used it and it worked great, but you have to use alot of it. I basically soaked the area with remover, then put some on a rag and laid the rag on top of the stain. Wait a few moments then come back and scrub it. then come back with a warm damp cloth and scrub it some more. keep alternating with the remover and the damp cloth until the stain is gone.
A professional cleaner should be able to help you, using a dry solvent and then flushing with water. Afterwards it should all be extracted.
