I use distilled water in my iron, as none of them can take the
hard water, even tho they say they can.
All brands of steam irons will get limescale built up on them so all you have to do to clean is pour in some White Vinegar in the water resevoir and turn on for a moment to allow to steam then allow it to sit for a few hours then pour out and also perform this method of cleaning your iron Clean your iron's soleplate
To remove scorch marks from the soleplate of your iron, scrub it with a paste made by heating up equal parts vinegar and salt in a small pan. Use a rag dipped in clean water to wipe away the remaining residue.
Good Luck !
Use cooled boiled water then you wont get limescale.
