Naturally clean?

Question:What alternative can I use and how can I use them instead of bleach and amonia etc..for laundry, and cleaning kitchen and bath?

Answers:
One of my favorite books is called Better Basics for the Home: Simple Solutions for Less Toxic Living by Annie Berthold-Bond.

Here's a link to it on Amazon:

It's got everything, from homemade cleaners to compost tea for the garden and even natural paints and glue. For an all-purpose cleaner, I use water mixed with a little vinegar and a little Dr. Bronner's Peppermint or Tea Tree Liquid Castille Soap, or both. For the bathroom, I use the same with baking soda sprinkled onto the tub, toilet, etc. and left on for several minutes. Tea tree is anti-bacterial and peppermint smells clean and nice.

For laundry, I buy from a natural brand like Earth Friendly Products or Seventh Generation. I've also used the Bronner's Soap before, but Bronner's also makes a special laundry soap. I like Bronner's, because they are probably the most socially and environmentally responsible and generous company I know of. http://www.drbronner.com

I hope more and more people realize that cleaning your home with toxic chemicals is not clean!

Murphy's Oil Soap is a mild and non-toxic cleaner.
