Getting the smell of spilt perfume out of handbag lining ?? I have washed it in bio powder twice and rinsed !?
Question:...but it is not completely gone. Anyone had complete success getting rid of perfume smell?
Answers:
Well, it wasn`t a cheap perfume then, it`s lasting well. ;o)
Try soaking in Oxyclene.
cold water and vinegar
Try wadding up newspaper and put into the purse and redo everyday for a week and see if that helps ~ if does get rid of smell of smoke so maybe other fumes as well ~ "MEMO"
Try shaking the damp bag, with a handful of Bicarbonate of Soda inside (you get it in the baking section of the supermarket), so that the powder sticks to the whole inside of the bag. Leave it overnight, then fill it with warm water and rinse the powder out. After that, you can put it through another wash with detergent & fabric conditioner (the bicarb will probably remove any surface protector that was on the lining, if your bio detergent didn't).
