How can you remove white vinegar stains?

Question:Last week, I didn't have my gym shirt with me for gym class. I had no choice but to wear what I had on originally. I sweat a lot that day, and when I washed and dried my shirt, a yellow, sweat stain popped up! I went on FindHomeAnswerss to find what people have said about this problem and I tried the white vinegar strategy. Only problem was that when it came out of the dryer, the stains were larger and not only that, they were blue! That was one of my favorite shirts, and I'm terrified of messing around with it anymore. What can I do? I wanna wear that shirt again!

Answers:
try sweating in it some more...

try using this product called lestoil. they sell it in the cleaning asile and my grandma uses it on every stain ever. It get motor oil out of clothes and my brother gets printer ink out of kahki pants using it. Pour some on the stained area and rub it in with your fingers and let it set for a little bt then wash on cold. If it looks like it came out just put in dryer. If it came out a bit just repeat until its gone
I have no idea about the blue stain.. ? I wonder what caused that...

As for the original problem... sweat stains... you should use shampoo on them. They will be gone without any extra washings, and not a lot of work either. I found that shampoo will work for any bodily stains or odors that are otherwise hard to get out with normal washing detergent. . Just put shampoo onto the stain directly, and wash as normal. (e.i. add more clothes to you load, put the laundry detergent in, and wash.) I wouldn't dry the shirt until the stain is gone. General rule, once you run the stain through the dryer, it's set. I hope this is not the case for your shirt.

You could try the shampoo with this particular shirt and see if it will take out the blue stain that you have now. Couldn't really hurt it. I've never heard of using white vinegar for sweat stains.

P/S
I use baby shampoo (cheap stuff) for clothes I don't really want to smell flowery or purfume-ish... the regular adult shampoo is good if you want your clothes to come out smelling like your hair does. :o) Hope this helps.

Good luck.
