How do you remove rust stains in the bath tub? cheaply?
Question:
Answers:
use some CLR
Buy a bottle of "CLR" in HOme Depot or Walmart
If it is a porcelain coated tub, supposedly you should use a brick to remove rust stains. There are brick pads available on the market. This was recommended by a plumber (an old-school plumber--it was a "home remedy"). I would look for the brick pads, as I can't imagine scrubbing with a brick from the steps.
I used Lime Away when our house was still on a well. It always worked great for me. I found it to work much better than CLR.
You can also try a pumice stone. Many people use them for callous removal. You can also try toilet bowl cleaner and its not quite as hard on the surface as the pumice stone or the brick.
