Does anyone here likes to do house chores?
Question:what is the best time to tidy the house?
Answers:
To tell you the truth, when I first got married, I never really enjoyed house chores. But as I learned to do it better, I started enjoying it more and more. I know, that sounds weird, but I learned tips on how to help. I suggest cleaning the house at night after dinner, because you have to wash dishes and you can get into comfortable clothes. If you can, I also think that if you can, you should put music on in the background, so that it distracts you and makes the cleaning go faster!!
GOOD LUCK!
night
because if you do in the morning it will get dirttier throughout the day
(during the week)before ur parents get home from work.. not on the weekends cause u will have plans then..=)
At night... on the weekends... and when it gets so messy I can't find what I want. LOL
I usually clean on Sundays early in the morning. That way it would be clean for the work week and if it does get a little dirty during the week, then I tidy up at night.
Only you can pick the best time for you. Try & break the tasks down & do a little each night. I do dusting on mondays, vacuum on tuesdays, mop the kitchen on wednsday ect. By the time the weekend comes you should have all the free time in the world. Also try using a timer & take 15 min to do as much as you can & take a break then try another 15 min the next hour.
I always clean in the middle of the week, around the afternoon time. No matter when you clean or what time you clean your house will get dirty again. To prevent a bigger job for myself. I don't do everything in one day, I break different things down for different days. That way something is always clean throughout the week. The on the weekends I just run the dust mop, and the duster one more time. This seems to keep everything pretty clean.
My suggestion to you is to break it down on different days. It makes it easier, and the house seems to stay cleaner that way!
I love cleaning the house and the best time to do it is at night or when the kids are at school.
I actually like to clean my house. The rewards are fantastic...
I find that if we clean up as we go, it's faster in the long run.
Absolutely necessary:
Hold everyone accountable from an early age. If you live in a home, you're responsible for that home. It's not punishment; it's taking care of, and being responsible for your home.
You must have a place for everything (in order to put everything back in its place). So organize. Keep what you need now, and, will need in the forseeable future (2 years+/-). Get rid of the rest.
Every day, I do the following things:
Laundry (at least gather and sort into 3 hampers -- whites, colors, darks; do a load or 3 if time permits), dishes (gather and stack in an orderly pile -- if no time to do the dishes/load dishwasher right then), garbage (have garbage containers in each room, then, go through each room in the house and pick up any garbage/litter you find; empty all garbage containers from each room into the kitchen garbage, then, when time permits, take the kitchen cans out to the dumpster or outside garbage cans), surfaces straightened, and kitchen/bath counters and sinks wiped down with a hot, soapy cloth; sweep up any messes on the floor (and wipe up any spills as soon as you make them)
Every week: clean your toilets and showers/tubs; your sinks and countertops; change your bedding (sheets, pillowcases); sweep/vac your floors.
There are monthly, 1/2 yearly, and yearly things to do as well, but this list is a good beginning...
