Of course they will-& if you have pets don't for get to wash them before feeding them again as well. Rinse the lids of all your canned goods too before opening them..
Nah, its just to kill the fleas, they are great but make sure you do let it fog everything, thoses b@stard fleas are a nightmare.

Save yourself a lot of wasted time. Call the Orkin man or the Terminix man & have them take care of the flea infestation. No fogger is used, therefore, you won't have to wash the contents of your cupboards. These men know their stuff & can get to the root of the flea problem, especially when it comes to getting to the eggs as well before they hatch. I have the Terminix man come to my home on a regular basis to spray for insects, inside & outside of my home. It's very affordable & well worth it. The sprays & powders used are not strong smelling, infact, you barely smell the spray at all. The powders they use, resemble wheat germ & that's sprinkled throughout the house to get rid of certain insects. Give them a call.
I had to use one years ago. You will need to clean anything you leave at home. Clothes, dishes, everything! BUT, they do work!
