Does anything happen if.?
Question:You leave the clothes on top of the dryer? I mean does it harm anyone?
My dad always starts an argument with me all because I leave the clothes on top of the dryer,
Answers:
They wrinkle pretty badly. If the dryer is on, they can contribute to a fire. Dryer fires are pretty common, especially if you don't keep the lint exhaust clean.
Obviously, it harms your dad if it gets him mad.
The only thing that happens when you leave the clothes on top of the dryer, is you tick off old Dad!! He's really just trying to get you to finish the job you started. Its his job to nag and teach.
no it dont i never heard nuthing like that
yes...can technically start a fire if the dryer started to overheat. THe clothes on top would prevent the dryer from cooling off.
nope not a problem...but still move the clothes so ya pops with stop nagging
well i don't think it would cause any deaths or anything.. I think your dad probably wants you to take care of things. Finish what you started because I know laundry seems like a simple thing but if you are young now and make sure to finish things you've started, if you have that kind of habbit it can be helpful in your future (especially college). Also, it does make the clothes all wrinkley if they are sitting in a pile
Is that where you clothes belong? No.
I'm sure you have a dresser and/or a closet. Use them and save the argument (which you'll never win anyway).
Yes they could fall behind the dryer and it's hell to get them out.
Nothing will happen.. no fire, no extra electric bill ect, except it ticks your dad off probably because he would rather his clothes not just get dumped in a pile.
More worrysome with a dryer is "do you ALWAYS dump out the lint in the dryer trap"? If he dosen't do that inform him that not only does this make the dryer work longer and harder to dry the clothes, it also increases the risk of a fire.
of course it doesn't harm anyone, your dad probably don't like the litter, put the stuff away.
NO! NO! NO! NOTHING CAN HAPPEN BESIDES MAKING YOUR DAD MAD .BUT U SHOULD NOT LEAVE IT THERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFE.
1) Dad's blood pressure goes up.
2) Dryer can overheat and cause fire if it is running with anything on top of it. It's also easier for something to fall behind it and cause a fire.
3) Clothes will wrinkle if not folded correctly or hung up right after coming out of the dryer. This causes wrinkles, leading to a disheviled, unkempt appearance, further aggrevating dear old dad, and ultimately reflecting back on you.
4) Not really worth the argument - develop the habit of investing the 5 or 10 minutes it takes to take responsibility of your clean clothes and fold/hang them up properly. Dad will look at it as a sign of maturity, and who knows what kind of brownie points you'll get for doing what he likes without being told.
Depends what sort of clothes dryer you have. If the air vents are on top are blocked by your clothes they could cause a fire.
nothing much.just can start a little old fire
It probably would take less time to fold the laundry and put it away than the time it takes to argue with your dad. Try doing it each time a load is finished It really only takes a few minutes. Time yourself and see. Its really not so bad, your clothes will look nicer and your Dad will be so happy with you! You are a good kid doing the laundry for your dad...
