Home remedy for getting red jello out of carpet?
Question:My sisters 3 year old son just put red jello all over her new white carpet (YIKES)...she doesnt have a carpet cleaner nor does she have any money (she only has a dollar) she lives too far away (states away) for me to help and is wondering if theres a home remedy for getting JELLO out of carpet.

I would try hydrogen peroxide. My husband and I have used it dilute with water to clean carpets. It did a great job. Peroxide will get blood stains out I am sure it will get red jello stains out of white carpet.
scissors. Other than that, Red jello (much like red koolaid) is just about permanent if you diont clean it really fast. I have had some luck with Oxy-clean and hard to remove stains. But red food coloring is a toughy.
Be a good friend and let her know white carpet was an awful choice when you have a toddler!
Keep it wet!, and she needs some more money to get some bleach to stain it out.
