Does anyone own a Dyson Animal vaccum? If so, is it worth $500.00?

Question:Dyson is a filter-less, bag-less vaccum cleaner. I want one but I want to make sure it is a good product before I spend $500.00!

Answers:
i have one and i love it...think its worth the money ...i have noticed when you buy the cheaper vacs, you use them a couple of times and the suction diminishes.and doesnt really get your floor clean..

I really like mine. I've had it for about 4 years now, and I like everything about it. The only gripes I've heard from others (other than the price) are that the cord doesn't retract (I don't know of other uprights where they do - though there may be some by now) and that there isn't on-board storage for every attachment (the animal attachment and floor attachment do not store on the unit; the brush and upholstery and crevice tool do).

Since mine's older, it's a DC07. Check out epinions.com - there were lots of reviews on it even several years ago.
Dyson is worth the money. It cleans well, easy to change filter. Great on carpets and hard floors. You want one ? I suggest you buy one.
It picks up well but I find it very hard to push.
Dyson are great vaccums. The Animal ones come with extra tools that will help you clean reach stuff under the bed ect. Also one the you can use on the couch. Spend the extra money and get the Dyson.
