How do you remove a grese stain from pants?
Question:It's on my pair of pnats, what can I do to get bacon grese out of them?
Answers:
go to the automotive section of the store and purchase some degreaser like Castrol Super Clean degreaser (its in a purple container) gets grease out good, and lots of other stains. I just use it like a pretreater. Of course I don't think you would want to use this on delicate fabrics, but I have used on jeans, flannels, sweatshirts and t-shirts and had no problem. Works on food grease and automotive type grease, however, if you have already put the item through a dryer, it may not work as well, as you should never dry a stained item. Drying sets it in.
Dawn dish liquid! Seriously, it's great for grease on your dishes and works just as well on clothes!
Eat naked.
Hi I also agree to dish soap. You may want to put some-on and let it sit .Make sure you put something underneath it in case it bleeds Thur..good luck
Put some dawn on them and then wash and you'll be all set.
i found out by using color safe bleach it helps clean the cloths i do not have stains ,my son said the stains in his white
t shirts are slowly coming out his t shirts are looking cleaner
Try using Goof Off or Goo Gone. works for me!
For grease or oil, Mix one part Tide with two parts White Vinegar. Blot the stain well with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot again, and launder as usual.
Baking Soda, sprinkle on the grease, and scrub gently with a wet brush, wash.
Hope this helped.
Pour Dawn dishwashing liquid on it. Let set for
at least 30 minutes. then soak. Then wash with detergent added. Then rinse, then hang to dry. Check stain.
Repeat if needed. Do NOT put in dryer until stain
is gone, and you can't always tell when they are wet.
The dryer heat will set the stain, and make it impossible to get off.
