baking soda or corn starch. If they're too long gone nothing may work.
Soak in vinegar and water solution (about 12 pts water to 1 pt vinegar) for a few hours before washing.
Buy 'Oxy-action' its sold in the U.k only i think, so if your in america no point
If it is the deo, use dawn dish soap and water on the area and scrub lightly. If it doesn't come out when you launder, it is color removal from the shirt, not a stain. What causes color removal is a reaction of you and the deo you are using. My hubby's sweat can take the color out of cotton easily, the sweat under his arms, that is. My daughter had this problem, and saw the doc. There is a perscription that helps slow your sweat so it doesn't happen. She stopped using the stuff and just wears undershirts with short sleeves all the time, winter and summer. That's her choice, she is embaressed to admit she has strong sweat.
This is the best way I know. Buy some good old fashioned soap bar soap. you know the kind for washing clothes. You can find this in most hardware stores, even some supermarkets sell it. Soak your shirts in cold water, remove from the water & rub in the soap. Leaving the shirts for 1/2 hr with the soap still on & free from water this gives the soap time to do it´s work. Back to cold water , give a little rub to the stain. Now rub in more soap, this time leave the saop on, pop into your washing machine on a 40ºc wash. Once this has been done , hang your clothes outside in the sun . The sun will do the rest of the work for you , It will bleach out any remaining stains the natural way& leave your shirt ´s whiter than white.
