Call a professional exterminator. THey are notoriously difficcult to get rid of and can live lots of places other then the mattress.
personally, i have not had bed bugs. i have known people who have had them. i was told they change their sheets every few days for a couple weeks at least. some times longer. when you first get up, take the sheets off and put them in the washing machine. its cheaper then a new mattress and an exterminator.
Well usually if u can put ur mattress out in the sun for sometime it helps but u shd do it on often until u r sure u got rid of them. Else change ur mattress
First, vacuum your mattress. Second, cover the mattress completely with plastic cover. If the plastic bothers you then layer 2 or 3 fitted sheets on the bed. Third, if you think that the bedbugs are hanging out in places other than your mattress, then you can buy a special "bedbug" powder (Diatect International). You place the powder along the baseboards and then vacuum several hours later. It really helps to have a canister-type vacuum. We haven't had any bedbug bites since! happy vacuuming!
Buy a new mattress and once you do vacumn your mattress once a month and spray it with Febreeze daily.
