Answers:
liquid? hmmm, did u put a black light up to it and see all of the "stains". i believe u can try club soda, or something like that. or Resolve carpet cleaner. next time, dont pull it out, just hope she doesn't call you a week later.
my mom uses her carpet/upholstry cleaner...but she uses a certain upholstry cleaning fluid, not the same she uses for carpet, and not oxyclean. i would try a cleaner made for furniture
Becareful, don't mix the two, use one, or the other but, not both at the same time. Oxyclean works better, when made in a paste, let it sit,30mins. then scrub it off.I used it many times on ink & black paint... start with a clean damp cloth, keep dabbing the spot, My boyfriend keeps ink pens in his pockets, they leak, I 've been using Oxcy Clean for 2 years, Becareful after a while it will break down the cloth, ( he leaks alot of ink pens in his shirts & pants over and over!!
The truth is that often times the "home edition" steam cleaners don't work that well. They don't have the suction or the capacity and you don't have access to the industrial patented cleaners.
If you really want your couch cleaned well, call a cleaner. Also be careful of what you do on your couch, people can't expect to do anything and still have their couch look new.
