How do you clean with natural things, like baking soda and vinegar?

Question:I want to start cleaning my house without using chemicals. I would appreciate any advise for making my own cleaning products at home.
Thanks!

Answers:
What my mom does is mix them with water. To clean soap scum off the shower, or to just clean the shower she mixes the vinegar and the water. DO NOT mix baking soda and vinegar together. You'll have a bigger mess then you want to clean up. We mop the floors with Vinegar and water. Exspecially in the bathroom b/c it gets the hairspray that sticks to the floor off. She normally cleans the stove with Baking soda, it helps get the burnt stuff off.

Another thing is vinegar and water clean windows and mirrors, better then any window cleaner that I have used.

Good luck with this!!

Mix them together and wash. Make sure to mix well.

Check out this site, and to get you started try this one.
Shower tile cleaner, good for everything in the bathroom.
1/2 tesp. liquid dish soap
1 cup of white vinegar
1/4th cup rinse agent Jet Dry.
Mix and put in a spray bottle, so you have it ready all the time. Make sure you label the bottle.
You can buy Jet Dry in the detergent aisle at the super market.
They also sell books on vinegar and another one on baking soda.
Well, for starters:

Baking soda and vinegar make a great cleaning solution for your tub, sink, floor, etc. Add salt and no bacteria will be able to live. (Baking soda and salt is the best, natural way to clean your teeth, too {equal parts of each})

Also, there are cleaners that use same natural ingredients. That's another option.

Honestly, for windows and mirrors, glass, etc., use a damp rag, and immediately dry -with no streaks- with a clean towel. I don't understand the use of ammonia when this works so well.

Dishes are washed well with baking soda and salt, but that gets a bit expensive. The aforementioned products with natural ingredients can be found at a Byerlys or Lunds. They're pretty inexpensive, too.

Kudos on the natural cleaning!
