I have a lot of pink clothes...well, my husband does...?

Question:Hehe, I did laundry today and a lot of the stuff turned pink. Mostly socks and towels and hubby's t-shirts.

I cannot find out the source of the pink.

I do have 2 pairs of my son's khaki color pants that have pink spots on them. I didn't dry them... My mother in law has gotten pink out of clothes but I don't know how she did it.

Does soaking in oxyclean or something work?

Thank You!

It sounds as though you had something red or burgundy in your washer. Yes, you can try Oxi Clean, but don't use hot water, as it'll set the color in even worse. I was in Kroger's recently & in the laundry soap section, there was a box of color remover or something like that. I briefly glanced at the box & can't remember the name.

Rit_dye makes a whitening rinse. As long as you haven't dried the items in the dryer this should work.
Maybe color safe bleach? try the powder and make a paste on the spot, and scrub it, wash in cold water.
