Non-Chlorine Bleach Only When Needed?

Question:I bought some non-chlorine bleach for colors and my clothes said use non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Is it just for stains? And my clothes say wash with like colors, does that matter with non-chlorine bleach?

Answers:
I would also read the back of the non-chlorine bleach. I assume a Clorox2 type product. I think it says use w/ every load, or it's okay to use every load. Of course, they want you to buy more so they will say that.

Essentially the non-chlorine bleach is a water softener to keep hard water from turning your clothes dingy. This in mind, I don't see how it would harm to use it every load.

The washing with like colors ALWAYS matters. If you were to put lights in w/ darks, especially reds and blacks, and the dye were to bleed you'd have a bunch of miscolored lights. Always separate lights from darks. If your loads are very small and you want to lump together, try a product called Shout Color Catchers. They really work.
