How do you remove a CARMEX lip balm stain?
Question:its on the back pocket of my khaki pants. I've washed them a few times already.
Answers:
I would use Dawn dish soap and it will cut right threw the grease of the lip balm.
spray and wash works well on greasy stains..or try hand washing the stain with your laundry detergent..that might work too.
if the pants are color fast, use a solution of Oxi Clean and water and then wash in the hottest water safe for the fabric...
if the pants are not color fast, try some dish soap OR laundry spray OR Avon Bubble Bath (I have a friend who swears by the stuff)...and wash with laundry soap and the hottest water safe for the fabric...
also, add a half a cup of Borax or Amaze to your wash water and that may help, it certainly won't hurt...
