The decomposable items like vegetable waste should be buried in the ground and can be reused as manure if you have a garden. Non-decomposable items like plastics should be recycled into useful articles.There are business men who buy the same for a price.
Collect all the vegetable peels etc. in a glass container and put worms in them. they will eat all the vegetable garbage and make manure for your flower pots.
If you have a garden, then dig a pit and collect all the vegetable garbage along with cow dung and fallen leaves. You will have v. good manure for your garden.
If you have a cow or goat, or horse, or buffalo, feed the vegetable peels to them. Remember, nothing dirty.
