Can anyone recommend anything for getting moldy spots of a shower curtain?
Question:Any suggestions welcome
Answers:
Wash in the washing machine and then hang back up to dry. If its not too bad you can mix 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water in a spray bottle. You'll know the mold is dead when it turns black, then clean off.

I wash mine in the washing machine. That usually takes care of the spots. If that doesn't work try bleach.
Hello. My shower curtains also got moldy and it drove me CRAZY! I tried all types of things but of them all, bleach was the only one that worked. It did not entirely come off, but it took off the majority. Good luck!
Soak it overnight in bleach solution, rinse thoroughly and put it through the wash (40 deg)on its own. If there are still spots then it's toast and needs replacing. For a replacement go for a solid plastic type rather than a nylon one.
Bleach will do the trick, wash your shower curtain in the machine first, if there are still mouldy spots, just immerse the curtain into a bowl of water with bleach in.
Buy a new one cheap enough lol
Lysol works great.
use bicarbonate of soda ..you can also use this on the seals of your fridge freezer and it doesnt damage the rubber
wash it in the washing machine with a couple towels and a cup of vinegar
Hi, I know vinegar is used to prevent mildew on plastic shower curtains ( use vinegar and water in a spray bottle ). Try cleaning it off with the water/vinegar solution.
Put it in the washing machine and add some oxy action stain remover. I use it for everything it gets out the toughest stains so I'm sure it would work for mold.
Susan, I can suggest lemon juice and vinegar , but really this only last a few week´s,as does the bleach cleaning, The problem is ,it cost´s to much money having to change the curtain every month or so. I had the same problem,so in the end I had shower door´s fitted. Easier to clean, soon as you have finished having your shower, just keep a small sponge handy & with a little hair conditioner give a wipe ,then a quick rinse with the shower,
Soak the shower curtain in the bath water with bleach. Leave until mould has gone.
Yup,
You chuck the item in the local skip & buy a new one.
It is the same price as a bottle of concoctions that claim to wash off the mouldy bits.
Job done, and easy.

flash gel spray with bleach. spray it on and leave for at least an hour then wash off. works wonders in the shower on your grout and the sealant too.
Just put the shoer curtain in the tub with very hot water and put bleach in the water. Put on some rubber gloves and use a soft hand scrubber like maybe a toothbrush. This is what I do and it works for me.
