Can someone please tell me how to mix up some homemade carpet shampoo for my electrolux brush machine?

Mix Oxi Clean with water. I use that in my carpet shampooer. It really works.
Because you need something that cleans well and rinses clean, I don't think you can make your own any where near as good as what you can buy and you may create large problems for yourself with a homemade remedy.
