Linen closet?
Question:I live in a small apartment, with not much closets.
My bathroom is not small, is a good size, with the linen closet in it. I don't know how to organize it, I've tried so many times, in there I have towels, bed sheets, my husband's stuff (like shaving cream, pergume, etc) my stuff , hair stuff, make up, and lot of beauty products.
It's got 3 shelves, but I can't get it organized and in a way I can get one thing in a second, and not be knocking everything down just to get to that little perfume bottle at the end.
What r ur opinions? How does your linen/bathroom closet look?
Thanks

I take my nicer matching towels and I roll up and put them in a nice basket by the tub... I like the basket idea...Try IKEA online they have really nice stuff totally cheap!! I also like to use a shoe organizer if the closet has a regular door.. You can put perfumes, shave cream...I use mine for baby stuff. It's super handy... You can also mount a cabinet on the wall above your toilet too for extra space. Also, if you are running out of room for towels you can store extra's in a bin under your bed... I like to store sheets the whole set in one of the pillowcases that way everything is together you just grab the whole pkg... Or you can store bed linens under the bed(s) they belong to as well. That will save space. I've also put bedding/table cloths in hanging sweater bins in an extra closet.. If you have one available
For the beauty products and shaving cream and so on, get baskets that will hold your things and one for your husband.
That way when you want something, just pull out the basket and your ready to go.
You could put your linens on the top and toiletries on the bottom. Less worry about spilling. You can even get a basket that is lined in a plastic frame to help things stay as they should.
Good luck.
I agree with Cammie - get baskets to hold the toiletries. For the towels you can roll them or fold them lengthwise. For sheets, I put the whole set inside one of the pillowcases - this way everything is together and it seems to take up less space.
You could also look for shelf add-ons (usually wire) that slide on an existing shelf and give you enough room to probably store your washcloths and face towels.
If you have a vanity cabinet:
